In other news, I deliberately chose to have lemon coconut slice for dinner in lieu of a healthy nutritious meal. oh, I WIN at being a grown up today.

Dragonfly is MOCKING me mercilessly over my hero worship of Shalott.

This is because I have trying very, very hard - and completely failing - to be cool about the fact that Shalott commented on my Yuletide fic and then recced it.

I just accidently read part 6 of a Torchwood/Powderpuff girls fic.

This must be what going mad feels like.

1 Whoever came up with the pairing tag 'Jackanto' I want to PUNISH.

2 Yes, I am all about Gwen/Owen or even Jack/Gwen. However, I do not want to Gwen to leave Rhys, or stop loving Rhys, or have their relationship threatened. Okay?

3 I am amused. Over here is a discussion on how Torchwood is a completely crap show - and I agree with nearly everything they say. And yet I love my crap show. I think I should get some kind of fandom dedication badge. Also, I think those critics fail to focus on the most important part of the show. The snogging.

So, Monday was one of the worst days yet I've had at this job - for the first time ever I opened my store late. But special_trille and mr_booboo dropped by the store in the evening with cake and made it better :)

And then I went home and Torchwood made life good again. *g*

I continue to obsess about Gwen/Owen, despite my conflicted feelings towards Owen, and the part where I don't generally DO het. And it's not just Owen, I'm shipping Jack and Gwen too, I think it's just that they are all so damn sexy and putting it out there. Except Toshiko, for some reason. I'd like a Toshiko episode next, and if she could snog someone, that would be great, thanx.

1. DEXTER. I have seen four eps and am in love with this show. It's like, this anti-hero that you can't really connect to because he can't connect himself, yet you're rooting for him because everything is so much harder for him, but he's trying. Yay Dexter! Also, it's disturbing how much more attractive the actor is in this role compared to John from Six Feet Under *g* Also, I once saw James Remar (Dexter's dad) in a tv movie where it was really hot and he ran around in khaki shorts and boots and a whole lot of sweat and I may have had a bit of a crush.

2. Torchwood. Mostly for the snogging and the pretty. I am that shallow.

3. Heroes. I really want to find out what happens to Claire the cheerleeder and Nathan Petrelli. I have not very much interest at all in Isaac or Peter, who seem to be most people's favourites, and no urge to slash them or anybody else. Also, Hiro is cute as a button.


Poor SGA. You've been supplanted. *mourns* At least you still win at the slash.
