My laptop has decided he wants me to enter a password before he will let me use him. I don't think I have a password. *cries*

This means I can't watch 'Captain Jack Harkness' obsessively.

Or my Torchwood songvids.

This is bad. This is very bad.

OTOH...to quote [livejournal.com profile] misspamela..

What do you do with a character who is canonically bisexual, time-and-space traveling and slutty?

You cross him over with every character in the known universe.

...and oh, look, Speranza's already done it.

Of course she has.

In other news, I deliberately chose to have lemon coconut slice for dinner in lieu of a healthy nutritious meal. oh, I WIN at being a grown up today.

There are often ways to disable the passwords. Check with Dave Cake and see if he can help. Doing a search for the manual online might be a good place to start.

People who don't want strangers to read their journals should post friendslocked.

Maybe I'm performing a public service by making people realise that other people outside their circle of friends may be reading their journals.

Go to blogsearch.google.com and type in "torchwood 108 OMG". Google knows all.

I'd like to think that say I'm a friend of Doctor K is at least a half way step to signing up for an account. Would it be better to just make completely anonymous posts? I'm guessing no.

Good luck with the laptop.

Craig

If a laptop BIOS suddenly wants a password when you've not set one, one possibility is that the hard disk is dead.
