This ep did not make feel good about any of the characters except maybe Ianto - Suzie's a monster! or is it all Jack's fault! oh wait it's GWEN'S fault! maybe it's really Tosh's - she didn't have much to say for herself...

Also, Jack couldn't think of ANYONE ELSE to call except the person who's last words to him were THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT YOU SUCK??? Good thing she decided to take him seriously. Oh wait...

Look, Jack, if you have to 'fess up to something humiliating (especially) to someone who doesn't like you - they are going to MOCK YOU. Saying 'it's not funny' over and over is only going to make it FUNNIER. Just, don't bother.

And lastly, GOOGLE IS OUR FRIEND, PEOPLE. Why the hell are they wasting their time racing out to buy the damn book, and wasting Gwen's life standing around mocking Torchwood? Oh that's right, cos the answer's the ISBN number!!! Poor Tosh, perfect opportunity wasted to call one of her geeky net friends wasted...


Things I LIKED.

The slow mo as they show up the crime scene, Tosh and Gwen like little mirror images flanking Jack. Are they all wearing matching sunnies now? I can't believe anyone takes this show seriously.

Jack's acrobat boyfriend. A TWIN!. I bet there's a porny anecdote there.

Owen clutching Gwen.

The pretty romantic song they played at the end and the intense extended look between Jack and Gwen. It's nice their shippers are getting their turn again.

Followed by the CANON FLIRTING with Jack and Ianto. What exactly are they sending the others home early so they can meet up in Jack's office and put that stopwatch to 'lots of uses' FOR? *goes to watch for the second nth time"

Ah, yes. The mystery stopwatch activity. All I could think of, at the time, was
they were off for a timed soggy biscuit competition! Hmm, mayhaps they were going to play speed chess?

Oh, who am I kidding? There's clearly been an off screen scene where they've had it out about Ianto's girlfriend that ended in frantic shagging that still continues. But what that has to do with the stopwatch, I dunno.

I was shouting at the TV when Susie was brought back by the life knife - but SHE BLEW HER BRAINS OUT. The shot of the exploded back of her head shut me up though. But like...no brain... wouldn't be like a zombie? Also, I cannot believe I'm thinking too hard about this all! LOL!

THANK GOD for some mansex references from Jack. And OMG it was IANTO who was initiating the flirting!

Was Ianto's reference about the glove inferring that he might bring back his Cyberwoman from whatever Myfanwy left of her?
