Ohthankgod the serious drugs are finally kicking in. I have three layers of clothing, my sleeping bag as an extra doona and freshly nuked heatbags.

I might finally get warm. And sleep.

Me - I wish I'd asked if I could work from home tomorrow. I'm designing a database, I don't need to be there. I thought it'd be a bit cheeky, considering I haven't been there quite three months.

Dragonfly - Ask if you can go home early.

Me - I don't mind being AT work, it's the 50 minute commute each way on the noisy smelly rocking bus that sucks.

Dragonfly - WHINGE, WHINGE. How long have you been in this job again?

I forgive her callousness. I just have the flu. Dragonfly has a chest infection and constant asthma. And a sick child.

Hey, does anyone know where to download that song that Rachel Luttrell sings in Critical Mass? Preferably with her singing it? I want it, badly.

So that thing where there's something you can't get behind, and it ruins the whole ep for you? )

However, Caldwell and Weir? So. Damn. Cute.

No, really.

I didn't like Underworld all that much.

I despised Van Helsing.

I thought I might be turning into a Mundane.

I used to be so easy to please. I liked, nay, loved Armageddon. I liked Independance Day. I liked The Shadow. Hell, I liked Judge Dredd! See, not critical.

I watched Van Helsing and was not entertained. I sat in the cinema and felt like I did not belong.

At this point I mention that we had to leave before the end. Around the time David Wenham was surprisingly adding nothing to the movie, but screeching something about Viscious Liquids.

See, the website said the movie was 93 minutes long. It lied. In a way it was relief to find out that time hadn't actually slowed down. (I was literally sitting thinking that this was the longest 93 minutes of my life - turns out it wasn't.)

So we had to leave. So sad. And I rang and explained (yes, people, I complained) and got free tickets for another film. So I like to think that at least we didn't have to pay for our VH experience.

So tonight we went along to Harry Potter.

And I was worried I wouldn't like it that much. What with suddenly being so critical of films, also I've noticed my friends don't seem too enthusiasic.

Screw that. I loved it.

Yes there was a whole critically important chunk of the book left out. I just want to grab the scriptwriters and the directors and explain slowly and in words of one syllable the seriousness of their mistake. Ah...good fantasies...

Yes, there was the amusing scene where Harry's scar has apparently decided to see what the scenery is like from the other side of his forehead...

Having said that, totally see Lupin/Black now. Still don't want to read it, mind.

Also, Snape. Pretty.

George and Fred. Studly. Make me think naughty twins/Harry thoughts.

Draco (Tom's acne thankfully covered by makeup) Yummy.

And now last but not least, feeling horribly pervy about my new appreciation for Harry. Cos DR isn't isn't even nearly of age yet, is he?
