I have good flexibility everywhere except in my neck and shoulders, which have been steadily tightening up since I switched from an active to a sedentary job. The result of which have been near-daily headaches, hence my starting morning stretches last Thursday and the whole meltdown over sit ups. For the record I managed two on Friday, five on Saturday, none on Sunday cos Dragonfly was lurking around with a camera, ten on Monday, and randomly forgot to do any on Tuesday.
And then yoga happened. OMG the difference even one session made. I woke up this morning at 5:10am, BOUNCED out of bed and just pottered around happily in the dark, had time to read me some bandslash, and then gambolled off to work in time to start at 7:45am, where I enjoyed a headache free day.
The downside to eating breakfast at 5:30am, I've discovered, is that by 10:30 I'm ready for lunch!!!
