The gathering yesterday was everything a Slash Gathering should be. Good friends, junk food, massages, songvids, crazy purple alcoholic drinks out of Supernatural, threats to my life, and show pimping.

Yes, you see, I'm not allowed to spam y'all about Smallville anymore, though apparently Supernatural is still okay.

So, I'm creating a filter list with only [livejournal.com profile] chaodyssey and [livejournal.com profile] ascetic_hedony on it - they foolishly expressed interest, so they don't get a choice. But if anyone else is deriving amusement at my expense and would like to be on it, feel free to say so. This thing can't last much longer anyway, right?

In case you are interested in recaps and forum discussions, there is always Television Without Pity:

http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/ipdynamic/index.php?component=articles&category=1202&_static_rebuilt=1&__from=__STATIC__articles%2Fcategory_1202.html

Some of the other shows you like on their boards as well.

(I lurk there because sometimes it's the only place that has discussions about shows I like.)

I was a little dubious, when I saw the poll asking "Which cast member should be the next to direct an episode?" and found myself compelled to yell at it "None of them!!!"

However, the episode recaps are great! Omar G's writing is much more entertaining than the show itself. We can laugh our way through it instead of just sighing and groaning.

I haven't read recaps for a little while, but they usually are good fun :-)
