sarrenCome the long weekend I had all the time in the world to work on my uni assignment. I had an impulse to read a fic or two, which, I haven't really read much fic in months, so I wandered over to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
crack_van, read a couple of pleasant fics. All was good, I was on track.
Then I foundlibraryofsol. Aannd..that was my long weekend gone.
This writer is amazing. She writes both gen and slash, her gen fics are really funny and I love them too *gasp*

PRIMEVAL
Room Service 'Monsters, showers and all sorts of inappropriateness.' This made me giggle. A lot.
Humour.
"I think it's eating through my skin." He felt he should probably tell them that in case it was important. Horrifyingly they acted as if they believed him, and that was a thousand times worse.
LIFE ON MARS
Passengers 'Sometimes you don't have to look for the subtext, you fall in it.' Gen, humour.
"Excuse me for being at least a little uncomfortable with the fact that-" he dropped his voice to something close to a hiss. "My face is in your crotch!" Further wiggling only served to jam his elbow in the steering wheel. Gene made a sound that was somewhere between grunt and bark.
"Believe me Tyler, my crotch can do better."
SUPERNATURAL/DIE HARD
Hero Worship 'Dean meets his hero.'

"There has to be a rational explanation for this" Sam rubs two fingers across his forehead. "You haven't been messing about with any wish fulfilment spells or anything like that have you?"

Colby watched, with a sort of horrified fascination, as Charlie's eyes very slowly slid to what he was holding.
I feel I should warn that her use of punctuation is erratic and occasionally spell check fails her. However, she is so good this does not detract from my enjoyment of her fics, which is the biggest compliment I can pay her!! Yes, I know that says more about me, whatever. She is, however, going to let me start beta reading for her, yays!
