Bunny attempted to put Black-cat down the toilet yesterday. Luckily I got there in time - I felt like I was in one of those slow motion 'Nooooooo' scenes. My cat, while surprisingly forbearing of Bunny lugging her around, earned her reputation for random violence honestly.

Bunny doesn't need any more pet-related scars.

On the subject of the Slashmas party. Great name, btw, whoever came up with it. Seemed like everyone had fun.

Quote of the day, I think it was scrat saying wistfully, 'Remember the early days of the slash gang, when songvids would be on in the background, now it's kids' shows...' What? They don't like Mary Poppins? There's singing!

Also, we celebrate Jody's birthday on this day too. For about a minute and half, as she doesn't like to be the centre of attention. This year we've had her prezzie since Swancon, when she saw a $200 stuffed dragon at the artshow.

Jody - Oh wow this is amazing. I think I have to get it.
Me - Don't be silly. It's a waste of money.
Jody - But it's beautiful. I really really want it.
Me. Don't waste your money, you've got more important things to spend your money on haven't you?
Jody (reluctantly) I guess...but I really love it.
Me (stern) Jody! You don't need it! Where will you keep it? You don't have that much room.
Jody. *sad*

So, we surprise Jody with this big silver wrapped prezzie. Jody looks amazed and pleased, there's an air of expectation, of tension...
