Question for people who catch internal flights within the US.

cricketk has expressed concern that with the new security procedures 50 minutes might not be enough time to change planes in Denver.

Anyone know how long these things take?

We found that having an aussie passport meant extra security checks i.e. being taken out of the line, made to stand on the Naughty Mat, being patted down, having our hand luggage thoroughly searched (probably not an issue any more). It wasn't a huge hassle but it did add a bit more to the time.

Within the US itself? You had to show your passports on internal flights?
