Primeval 2.01

sarrenHave now rewatched Primeval sober. Even got to the end this time.
- Them not taking enough guns still irks me. Not complaining about them not waiting for back up, these shows wouldn't be as exciting if the heroes didn't throw themselves in harm's way.
- Was Nick always this macho - taking Abby's gun and ushering her out of the way and facing the oncoming monster himself?
- Fully approve of all the Nick/Stephen meaningful looks and not letting pesky women come between them.
- OMG how CUTE was Nick putting his head on Connor's shoulder and Connor all pleased!!! Worth it for that moment alone!!! Kinda icing on the cake from the earlier scene - 'Connor I could kiss you' *Connor smiles and eyes passersby* 'That's nice, but maybe not where other people can see?'
*LOVES*
- Abby continues to have nothing much to do. Her fake tan annoys me.
- LESTER!! Last season he was just kinda slimy and ruthless. Now he's acquired a light, dry way of delivering his lines. I thoroughly approve. Also, I am totally slashing him and the new guy with no concept of personal space.
- Even when I was maybe a little drunk, the second they mentioned bringing in a PR person I knew it was going to be Claudia. The RED SHOES camera angle??? *scowls* *takes deep breath* I am going to reserve judgement. I am. I am.
Overall - YAYS!!!

Date: 2008-01-19 12:28 pm (UTC)Claudia - yeah they telegraphed that, I figure the pointless red shoes shot is either a) a way of drawing out the tension or b) a sign she has a COMPLETELY different personality and is a bit of a tomato.
Connor is strangely hip and has FAR better hair this season. I totally blame the attitude on the hair.
I loved the way Nick and Stephen sort of bonelessly fell to the ground after their big scare.
