I'm failing at teh internets. You know, for a change.

How do I get a map of Perth's water systems, um rivers, dams, aquifers etc?

Please.

I would think Department of Water or Department of Planning and Infrastructure (DPI), I'm not sure it would just be freely available.

There is a program called TenGraph that is used for viewing tenements but shows many other DPI layers that you may be able to use, there is an online version that I think you can get here (http://www.doir.wa.gov.au/aboutus/FC0D43DC45B946FFAFA544EF610B0D27.asp#22859) but you will have to register.

How urgent is it? I can try getting you a map at work tomorrow if you like. I'm not sure if it will have the detail you require though, this system is mainly used for mining info

Awesome, thank you.

It's actually for Dfly, she's already tried at least one of those.

What sort of actual info does she need, what is it needed for? We have a few different mapping systems

I need if for 8year olds to follow the water cycle. where water comes down-land/rivers/etc- and the path it might take i.e. follow rivers to lakes/sea or into the groundwater system. i am doing 'natural water systems'

Sarren said she will be in your bldg on Friday and she can pick up if you find anything. Thanks for your help PT.
