Since my three month old laptop blew up last week and I had to buy a new one and get IT people to make it be in English for me, the low battery warning that comes up now casually advises "You might want to plug in your PC." I mean, it didn't used to say that, right? Is it a Windows 8 thing, or a translation thing?

Also, when you read that message and it seems dirty, it might be sign you've been reading too much porny fanfic that evening. Also, when I think about it, if you've just read a fic where Tony Stark gets Steve Rogers off by flicking him with a wet towel in the showers, you might be too far down the rabbit hole to climb out again.

I can't work out how to sort the laptop, so I'm going to have to take it to an 'authorised reseller'. I have a list off the Toshiba page and they all look very daunting. Do I just randomly pick one?

Also, I can find every piece of paper, manual and item every relating to my laptop, including the $25 Myers voucher, but I can't find my proof of purchase receipt. Yet again I fail at being a responsible adult. *is sad*

Also, I'm assuming this password isn't for the hard drive, because otherwise apparently I have a very expensive paperweight. And then I would have to cry.

Now that Dragonfly has started her university course** she's needing the internet. A lot.

So what are my options here? Hooking Bunny's comp up too? I'd either need a second phone line or a hub thingy, is that right?

Or what about if I get a laptop and go wireless internet? Is that something seperate? And no, I'm not thinking I'm making excuses to get me a laptop, why do you ask?
