Dragonfly finally finished DH and had barely looked up when I put Blood Magic in her hands and that was last we heard from her. Jody and I spent a wild Saturday night sitting on the couch playing on the laptops.



Jody and I figured out how to FIX Deathly Hallows in THREE EASY STEPS.

1. In the Room of Requirement, the wall hangings have 'the silver and green of Slytherin' represented instead of ABSENT. Maybe Harry could notice how the sullen and bruised looking Slytherins don't get up and rush up to hug him and shake his hand like everyone else.

2. Ron Weasley dies heroically.

3. The epilogue should just have the Potter kids piling loudly into a carriage where a nervous little house elf is fidgeting in it's brand new school uniform and Scorpius Malfoy is sitting reading Hogwarts: A History.

You forgot the step where Harry figures out where they've been hiding the real Ginny for the entirety of the book. *koff*

Also? Blood Magic is possibly my favorite HP fan story ever. As I read the last book, I kept being confused when it wasn't consistent with what I remembered of canon...until I realized I wasn't remembering JKR's canon, but Gateway Girl's. *headdesk*

*falls about laughing* So true. I don't actually have an objection to canon Harry/Ginny - I'm convinced that Ginny was being totally awesome running the resistance with Neville. It bites that we didn't actually get to see any Resistanceleader!Ginny.

ME TOO!!!! I started reading it when she'd only got about 14 chapters in and used to regularly rec it.
