If you go to the My Chemical Romance website it plays their music at you! Who knew. It even starts with my favourite, what can I say, I like boppy songs about violence and disaffectedness.

I saw in this interview with Gerard that they will be playing in Brisbane on November 28, so I went to their homepage and clicked on their info email link and asked if they were playing any other cities cos I'll happily hop over to Melbourne or Sydney, but does it HAVE to be Brisbane goddammit?

Only the email bounced.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

I'd LOVE to go, but over summer Auckland is closer to me than any of the east coast destinations - if it were winter, it'd be a 90min hop (love the flights that run for the ski season) and I'd be off like a shot!

I forgot to ask whether you prefer general admission or reserved seating.

Pros and Cons

General - chance to get close, dancing VS crowded, probably won't get that close, won't be able to see them very well over people's heads

Seating - Comfort, be able to see the stage clearly VS further away, also I don't know what seats I will get with the preording online (maybe random)

we're going all this way, we may as well try for good seats, don't you think? esp. if the boys get frisky, we want a nice view *G* Though I'm not too fussed either way (it's been zonks since I last went to a concert, so I'm not too familiar with the differences between the different types of tix)

It's a sports stadium - general admission means we'll be standing up on the grass for the whole thing, smooshed and sweaty and dancing. IT also means we'll have to get there several HOURS early IF we want a CHANCE at getting close to the stage. Our feet will hurt. And then we'll be trying to see the guys over the heads of everyone in front of us. So limited view. The Pros are - much closer, and dancing and more immediate excitement.

for lo, I am tall but not that tall, and pretty boys with guitars requires immediate examination
