calathea, who I have been stalking for her awesome bandslash fics, is also into Bruno & Boots, which is like, RARE. And not only does she write fic for it, but she has links to DOWNLOADS OF THE OUT OF PRINT BOOKS.
Ahem, this is me reccing teen books by Gordon Korman. Especially the MacDonald Hall series, which are about BFF Bruno and Boots and the hijinks they get themselves and their classmates into.
I had ONE Bruno & Boots book when I was a kid. And I read it til it fell apart.
SO MUCH FUN.
