This is Fall Out Boy.

I spent about an hour last night watching Fall Out Boy vids on Youtube and sadly found myself unable to connect with their music. Which has not actually affected my enjoyment of the fandom and my fondness for reading Pete/Patrick fics.

Here is probably their most well known song.

Patrick Stump is the lead singer/songwriter. I was lead to believe from the fics I've read that he writes serious, poetic lyrics. Now I LAUGH AND LAUGH.

Pete Wentz is the one that looks like Billy Zane and Val Kilmer mated. Pete has a record label, a film production company, his own clothing label (which he and all his emoboy friends wear), writes children's books and owns a nightclub. And of course he blogs.

He also has time to play HIMSELF on tv shows. And likes to make out with both boys and girls. HE'S AN RPF ENABLER.

You also forgot to mention he signed and pretty much manages that other font of RPS, Panic! At the Disco.

Though I have to admit a certain fondness for Andy. He's a drummer with long hair, glasses, and the cutest squeaky voice ever!

Haha. Nooooo. PETE writes the lyrics. And then he slides them under Patrick's door (or emails them, whatever, I'm sure sliding under the door was either mentioned canonically in an interview or was in a very good fic) and Patrick writes the music and SINGS PETE'S LYRICS.

Yeah, and writes the music and produces other band's albums, and wears a lot of hats, and is pretty much cute incarnate. He's such a slacker.

Pete is in charge of exposing himself on the internet and sleeping with Ashlee Simpson. I mean, er. Pete is in charge of publicity.
