So, this last year I basically took over cooking for the household and have discovered that I actually enjoy it now. Possibly because i started out using Hello Fresh, which, yes, individual packaging bad, but also, exact ingredients so no wastage, plus healthy ingredients, yay. Someone said that HF basically teaches you to cook and I think that's a fair call. I could always scrape together basic meals, and had a few decent recipes I defaulted to, but HF shows you lots of easy tips for combining stuff and not using a lot of pans and the food is generally really tasty, so I still get a delivery every few weeks. But for the rest of the time I just use whatever veges are in the fridge, with chickpeas or lentils or nuts. I actually prefer cooking vegetarian, although I still choose the meat options when I get HF because I can't convince myself I'm getting value for money with the vegetarian options cos they're the same price. Oh, brain.

I use Supercook to keep track of my ingredients and generate recipes and it's useful, but I find it a bit unwieldy. Anyone use a better site/app they can recommend?

And for a rec, this zucchini slice is amazing. I use the feta option instead of bacon, and I use chilli flakes instead of fresh. So good.
