Friending and unfriending

I saw there's another post-Yuletide friending post, I plan to have a browse through.

I did one for the first time a year or two ago (could be three, have no sense of time), and I have made some good DW/LJ friends but I think also a few where maybe our interests just didn't gel?

So at some point in a month or so I plan to unfriend people who never comment on my posts. If you happen to enjoy reading my posts but don't ever comment for any of a thousand reasons, feel free to DM me and we're all good. Not that I think my random fandom burbling or rambling about surf lifesaving and whatnot are fascinating.

Hello, i was looking at the friending post this evening with every intention of politely introducing myself but then I got very firmly pinned under a cat with only one hand barely able to operate the mousepad so I figured I'd add people while I was there and be polite when I was freed up but then I got tired and went to bed.

But then had to get up because of hoons in the street knocking bins over so now I'm up and saw your notification and have now realised that you didn't put a friending post but were just talking to someone on there, oops.

But you seem cool and interesting and were nice to me at Yuletide, so thank you for adding me back :)

I understand the cat crisis. (Though I had to look up what a hoon was.)

I rarely enter those memes because what if someone I don't like ads me and then I spiral in guilt and regret. So ideally I'd like cool people to magically know to add me. Which seems to have worked out.

*g* Obviously I didn't mean you,or 95% of my flist, was just feeling a bit weird about a few people who I added from one of these friending sprees who have like, never commented - in fact when I was adding people this time I had a look at the manage your circle page and someone who I *had* commented on a few things of theirs,but not for ages had just quietly cut me loose at some point and I hadn't noticed *shrug*
