Grimm. The Temptation.

I like canon. I like canon relationships. I don't even generally want to slash people who are already in love with someone else.**

I have no idea why Grimm has been the fandom to test this resolve. Yes, Nick and Monroe are adorable together, and sneaking around pretending they don't know each other, but Nick loves his girlfriend. In my defence, she's had such litle screentime until recently that I assumed they'd either kill her off or she'd turn out to be a plant.



So now Nick is talking - to Monroe - about breaking up with her to protect her.

Then Monroe, who until now, has been a little leery of Nick always asking him to help out, gets the crap beaten out of him by his 'community' for helping Nick. Nick's like, I won't ever ask you for help again.


Monroe's like, screw that, call on me whenever you like!


Nick is very happy with Monroe's answer. Also, he has a lovely, lovely smile.



Nick rings Monroe: 'What are you doing for dinner?'. LOOK AT THAT LITTLE SMILE.


Apparently what Monroe is doing for dinner is inviting Nick over and cooking for him.


And complaining that Nick only talks about work, instead of things like asking Monroe what his favourite colour is.


Nick's like, 'What is your favourite colour?'
And Monroe, slightly coyly, says 'Red.'
And Nick jokingly says 'I feel so much closer to you now.' LOOK AT THAT SMILE.


In conclusion, I like Nick's smile.
