YAYAYAYAY Bond/M by my favouritest writer in the whole world...
http://intimations.org/fanfic/jamesbond/Queen%20of%20Spades.html

James Bond has been part of my life since I was about ten years old and stole all my parents' Ian Fleming books and read them to death (and Leslie Charteris and Dennis Wheatley and everything SF they owned) In my head he was 35 in the 1950's and is still 35 in 2006 and has worked with all the M's extensively and had a bajillion missions, so it actually required a mental readjustment when reading this fic by Shalott, because the fic updates him and places him firmly in the now in a way that totally makes sense, but takes away that sense of immortality. I love it a lot. And also I am totally not traumatised by picturing Judi Dench having sex. *pause* Oh god.

"When Bond was in Paris he invariably stuck to the same addresses. He stayed at the Terminus Nord, because he liked station hotels and because this was the least pretentious and most anonymous of them. He had luncheon at the Café de la Paix, the Rotunde or the Dôme, because the food was good enough and it amused him to watch the people. If he wanted a solid drink he had it at Harry's Bar, both because of the solidity of the drinks and because, on his first ignorant visit to Paris at the age of sixteen, he had done what Harry' s advertisement in the Continental Daily Mail had told him to do and said to his taxi-driver 'Sank Roo Doe Noo'. That had started one of the memorable evenings of his life, culminating in the loss, almost simultaneous, of his virginity and his notecase."

And now I feel an urge to go back and reread the books, but am horribly afraid they won't be as brilliant as I remember.

That is a fantastic quote.

I...am having a lot of trouble imagining Bond a virgin.

...no, wait, there we go.
