So, with ONE DAY to go of the auction, I finally decided I could face offering a fic for [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti. I have no idea why I spent the last two days vaccillating when I really enjoy writing to deadlines AND have *nothing* to do for the next 10 days except write. If I want to, I mean! I mean, I could have a social life. Theoretically. *looks around* Actually, would anyone like to go see the new Sherlock Holmes movie with me? *crickets chirp*

Anyway, my offering is here if anyone has a sudden urge for a rare British or *cough* German *cough* fandom...

Absolutely!!! By any chance, are you interested in watching a homoerotic period detective movie with me?

Absolutely! You may end up with me for the night, as the getting home is not so easy?

I was thinking, meet at Carousel for dinner, see the movie there and then I can drive you home?

How about a week Tuesday? Um, 2nd February?

I'll pay $20 for either Bronski and Bernstein (1st choice) or Lewis (2nd choice). Who(m) do I send the cheque to? (Hope it's in Australia, I don't have paypal).

Hee! Thank you. You need to hit reply on my 'offering post' and put your bid there (in the extremely unlikely event someone else wants to throw in a last minute bid).

We'll work out the payment thing later - I need to read the instructions again (I also am paying $$ for a shiny fic for me!) but I think it's basically a matter of providing your author with a copy of your payment receipt, usually with the real name mostly blacked out, but that's obviously not an issue here :)

Oh and probably not an issue (unless someone else does bid!) but the bids are assumed to be in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

*bounce*

Have done. And apparently I can send my cheque directly to Oxfam. If I win the bid, I'll send you a copy of the receipt if you want it.

Admin matters over & done with. Start scribbling :-) ;-)

Hee! Have to rewatch the canon first - I haven't seen in it several years.

Meanwhile, you get to decide how much input you want - from general prompt to giving me a spec to work from. I am totally happy with however you want to do it :)

Thank you for buying me. (technically there's 268 minutes left, but whatever *g*)

Would love a first-time story. With snarkiness. And a tiny bit of schoop at the end. Mention of other characters, incl. Lene, are most welcome, but it must be clear that WB and GB are the OTP. Other than that, please let your imagination fly. I trust you implicitly and explicitly.

Awesome!! I'm looking forward to it.

If you send me a copy of the receipt I can tick that box for the mods at the Donation Confirmation Station (http://community.livejournal.com/help_haiti/10005.html#comments) and they can add it to their total.

I don't have a scanner, but I can send you a photocopy of the receipt at your home address if you can email it to me.

The Oxfam receipt number is 106858 (for AUS$25, handed in on 22 January).

No, that's fine, I'll just tell them you've paid and give them the rec no if they ask for it.

Thank you again for buying me!!!
