I wrote three fics for Yuletide this year.

I wanted to challenge myself, so I only volunteered for fandoms I hadn't written previously, with the exception of Green Wing, where there are so many interesting characters and pairings. Against the odds, I was matched with Green Wing, but I got lucky - the recipient's request was for pairings I hadn't yet written but always wanted to, with added scope to throw in all my other favourite characters.

I am really happy with it. It's my longest completed fic, and has two separate plots. It's also my first threesome. And was also one of the most fun things I've ever written. People who've commented have said that the characterisation is spot on and that it reads like the next episode, which is just the best compliment ever.

Dance Like It Hurts Mac/Caroline, Alan/Boyce, Mac/Caroline/Guy. I wasn't happy with the way the series ended so I FIXED IT. Everyone gets their happy ending!


One of the other requests from my recipient was Keen Eddie, and Eddie and Pippin are always fun to play with so I just wrote this little thing while I was plotting out the Green Wing fic.

I was tossing up whether to grab a pinch hit or not, but when the opportunity to write Lewis came up I had to take it. Then I wasn't able to sit down and start writing til nearly midnight, so this is what I came up with between 11.30pm - 6am on Christmas Eve morning. Then I went to bed and Bunny woke me up an hour later. I was a bit sleepy that day.

Ha, ha, HA! YOU wrote it! I'd been all set to tell you about how you absolutely had to read this Green Wing fic, because it's so perfect and also I thought you'd really really like it, and then at the last second I was like -- waaaait a minute. Why don't I give this another day and see if she wrote it. And sure enough.
