Okay, stick a fork in me, I think I'm done *g*

I'd have to say my TOP THREE Yuletide experiences have been.

1. Receiving a lovely Gift that the author went the extra mile to tailor to what I asked for - a great Blood Ties case fic, Liberation, and yay, moving towards a threesome in a believable way! Not to mention the possibility of a sequel. I totally SCORED.

2. The Remember the Titans fic, Sunny Days, - Awesome fic, and exactly what I've been craving since the first dozen times I saw that film. I think it was one of my requests my first year doing Yuletide.

3. The EPIC Casablanca fic recced below. There are actually two awesome Rick/Sam fics, that I suspect may have been written by the same author. One is 2k and I would have been satisfied with how great that was, but then I read Sentimental Reasons and was BLOWN AWAY. I'm not even a big fan of the movie, I've only ever seen it the once. For me, the stand out fic for Yuletide.

Blackadder

Peace on Earth Blackadder and Darling talk during the famous football game in No Man's Land. Lovely - captures the tone of the show, particularly those last few minutes. Gen

Burnett - Secret Garden

Wick
Dicken returns from the war changed. Beautiful and melancholy. Gen

Austen - Persuasion

April Snow Anne/Frederick
Short lovely domestic scene.

Friday Night Lights

Rules Tyra/Lyla
This is awesome - preseries, a look into Tyra's mind at 14 years old. Great ending. I love it. I'd actually describe it as pretty much Gen

Fades, If You Let It It's five years later, reunion at Tim Riggin's house. This is a nice glimpse of everyone's future. Gen

We Will Fix Our Hearts Over Tim Riggins character piece. Gen

Casablanca

Both of these are outstanding. The tone is pitch perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if the same author wrote both.

It Had to Be You Rick/Sam
Meeting Rick changed Sam's life.

Sentimental Reasons Rick/Sam
Wow, this is full of lovely relationship development. BRILLIANT.

Spaced

Terror of the Revivals Daisy/OC Tim/Daisy
Funny and geeky!

I've also only see Casablanca once and can't even remember how it goes. Maybe I'll go read a summary so I can read the story!

I think you will appreciate the awesomeness of the writing and the story.

I'm sure the most famous scene will be on youtube.
