I have decided that instead of being cranky about missing Yuletide nominations, I will be happy that I haven’t missed sign up!!! It’s hardly likely that anything I suggested wouldn’t already have been, what with 3752 fandoms nominated.

I’ve just reread one of my favourite childhood books – Power of Three by Diana Wynne Jones. This year I am totally going to request a fic about the kids all grown up and still being friends!!

Does anybody have any other of her books they wouldn’t mind lending me?

I think somewhere in my house I have Archer's Goon and Howl's Moving Castle. Not sure where though.

I was about to make a pointed comment about how we never see each other and then I realised I'll be seeing you on Friday!

Well, you did completely ignore the invitation to my birthday party. But I know you hate going out at all so I didn’t take it PERSONALLY. *stares*

You realise I've been directing a play, right?

I've got several of them. We just missed the catch up time though ;)

I have many of her books, which you are welcome to borrow. (if you look at library thing, under fred_mouse, you will find that I have 14. I suspect there are others hiding around the house)

I actually read Power of Three for the first time a couple of months ago, and I wish I'd found it as a child. It's so awesome! I really loved that whole twist, where it turns out that it's not actually set in a fantasy world, and that the giants are the humans, not the Lymen. :D
