Oh, oh this is an old skool Trek scenario reboot! Spock goes into pon farr while he and Kirk are trapped alone. *is gleeful* I love it. It is however, commentfic that's still ongoing as far as I can tell, though it's over 6k, which means, unbetad, unpolished and unfinished. commentfic


Kirk/McCoy

Full disclosure: I love friendship fics with these two, but the pairing doesn't do a lot for me, so generally I'll love the set up and then it gets heavy and it loses me. I'm not sure if it's cos I just *can't* see them together or if K/Mc writers seem to write tender and romantic scenes which make me wonder if they're watching the same film as me. My point is, I *love* this fic, I can totally believe in this scene - McCoy patches Kirk up after yet another life threatening injury...Crossing the Line

Established relationship at the Academy, mostly discussion of Kobyashi Maru. Following my previous rant, McCoy describes Kirk's smile as sweet, which made me cringe, but the fic won me with this line "I'd ask how someone with that kind of discipline problem made it into the Academy, but here we are" No complaints

I really like this. Friendship, with occasional sex. I could actually see this fitting into canon. It's What Good Friends Do

Hee. I would have expected this to hit my embarrassment squick, but I found it funny and cute. Pike in sickbay, still has the compulsion to tell the truth, and Kirk IS very hot. *g* Actions Speak Louder Than Words
