rageprufrock is available to buy in the Sweet Charity auction and one of the things she's offered is a 'timestamp' story, which I *think* means you get to ask for a scene from one of her existing fics. Of course, because of her awesomeness, the bidding is already over $150 for her, and it's not over yet. If I'd only had the foresight to know how much I would be tempted by a ROYAL WEDDING fic, I would have tried to form a syndicate. *sigh*

Okay, so I have no interest in Merlin (those blokes are babies!) and haven't seen the show and haven't read any fic, but I took a peek at rageprufrock's story because it sounded like too much fun.

It's brilliant! I love it!

And I may just have to watch the damn show when it turns up in North America, though I suspect the reasons I love the story will not be things that appear in the actual show. (Snarky text messages wouldn't seem to have a place in Arthurian legend. Though I could be wrong.)

I know, ADORABLE. I suggest giving in gracefully and going straight for the fic.
