Leverage is about an alcoholic ex-insurance investigator who reluctantly finds himself leading a team of thieves and con-artists whom he once chased, to now HELP people.

What *I* love about this show is the way this group of loners come to trust and care for each other. YES I AM A COMPLETE SAP.

Also it is fun. And funny!

Well, SOME people slash Eliot and Hardison. Not surprising. Eliot and Hardison do a lot of kick ass stuff together. Well, Eliot does most of the ass kicking, Hardison is tall and imposing and can wave a gun around and punch people a little bit.



Also, they've been known to be a little gay...for the sake of the mission, of course.

After all, even though Nate and Sophie have a *history*, Nate clearly can't give Sophie what she needs from a relationship



Sophie is a strong, independent woman,

Totally capable of running the team,

who really needs to just stop investing all this emotional energy on Nate and get herself a handsome younger man






Or you know, there's always Parker - where there's two strong competent female character in the same show there's always room for femslash.




Especially when Nate's ex-wife turns up! Parker feels the need to sniff Maggie, Nate's ex-wife, which is fine, because Maggie is fiiine.


Stroking is also acceptable.




Sorry, got a bit distracted there. What I really want to do of course is spam everyone with eleventy billion piccies of MY pairing of choice.

Parker and Hardison - they are totally awkard and adorable and CLUELESS together, and I can't decide from day to day whether I want them to get together canonically, because canon = good, and also, step forward for interracial couples on tv, but...but...but...UST is what makes fanfiction so much fun!!!

I haven't found much Leverage fic, but most of them are linked to in this rec post.
Most awesomely, the Odd Jobs series, starting with adorable 'The Underwire Job' where Parker asks a terrified Eliot for advice on how to date Hardison, and continues with 'The Cat Burglar Job' which is AWESOME, plot-driven team being protective of Parker fic, which I would have been completely happy with to remain gen, but comes with bonus OT3 cuteness. There's been two more in the series since that rec list - they're easy to find.

There are a lot of Leverage songvids on youtube - I'm kinda Parker focussed.

Oh, you do pimp the Leverage so well! And you were right, Mr Bean did enjoy it. Came in while I was watching an ep and then watched the rest of the series with me (alas, there weren't too many by that time). Am heading off to look up the fic recs (although I will have to squeeze them in with the Merlin fic, cos I am still so much into Merlin - it is only your pimping that has dragged me away. Oh, and the wondrousness of Leverage. Although I don't have a particular favourite - I find them all awesome, especially as "The Team". Really liked Maggie. Could totally believe Maggie/Elliot. Think it would be fun if she joined next season - there are so many unresolved issues with Nate. Who might eventually be able to give Sophie what she needs. And I'm so glad that Nate isn't fixed - that he still has drinking problems etc. And, you are right, Parker is great.
