These recs are mostly (but not all!!) centred around Commissioner Gordon. Also, they are not all the Gordon fics out there, just the ones that I particularly liked, obviously.

For ALL your Gordon needs there is [livejournal.com profile] nowweretwo and [livejournal.com profile] commish_gordon. I recommend [livejournal.com profile] commish_gordon in particular, as the mod links to all Gordon fics he can find, so it's pretty much a one stop shop.

Survivors by [livejournal.com profile] n0m_de_plum
Short Gordon scene at the end of TDK.

Two Heroes Gotham Needed and Two Heroes Gotham Deserved
by [livejournal.com profile] seriousfic
Bruce Wayne, Helena Bertinelli, Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon, Dick Grayson. It only takes a single stone to start an avalanche.

Storytime by [livejournal.com profile] bacchae23
Interesting format - oldtimer talking about the events of TDK.

All Kinds of All Right by [livejournal.com profile] sua_lay
Gordon overhears Jimmy talking to Batman.

Petered Dawon by [livejournal.com profile] azure_horizons
Gordon & Bruce post TDK. Conversation in a cemetery.

Reveal by [livejournal.com profile] cimness
Bruce/Gordon
OMG THIS MADE ME A BELIEVER. HOT AND INTIMATE.

Anomaly by [livejournal.com profile] cimness
Bruce/Gordon
PWP, but with layers. Established relationship.

Being Realistic by [livejournal.com profile] cimness
Batman/Gordon
Gordon thinks about Batman in that 'special' way.

commentfic by [livejournal.com profile] cimness
Batman & Gordon meet after TDK. Not yet slash, but because it's the writer who wrote 'Reveal' I'm hoping she'll write more of this!

The Clues In Front Of Us by [livejournal.com profile] solaras
Bruce/Gordon.
I rec this with qualifications. Firstly, it's a WIP. Oh noes!! However, since I'm not into this pairing for the hot sex, I'm just enjoying reading it for the interaction. Secondly, it's very obviously not beta-read, unfortunately, but the writing's good enough that I can overlook this and enjoy the fic for what it is, a ROMANCE. It's just CUTE, is what it is.

Human After All by Ponderosa
Gordon has some UST towards Batman. This is short and very well-written.

Nothing Ever Changes by Brancher
Batman/Gordon.
I am reccing this with qualification: the porn here doesn't work for me and I would have liked it better as a gen fic. *waits for world to end* But I really like the relationship/worldbuilding the author set up around the sex - Gordon is old now, they've been friends a long time and Batman comes to him for comfort.

Bruce/Alfred
Believable and not even icky!

It was a Dark And... by [livejournal.com profile] pere_chan
This Batman Beyond ficlet is described as 'mild Bruce/Terry slash'. However, I choose to read Bruce's hands on Terry's shoulders at the end as a massage after a hard day. SO THERE.
Short and I like Terry's POV here.

No Loneliness (Like Theirs by [livejournal.com profile] cidercupcakes
Bruce/Rachel/Harvey
Nicely written, set during TDK.

Pried by [livejournal.com profile] salmon_pink
Gordon/Bruce/Harvey
Hot porn. If you like that sort of thing.

Exclusive Content by [livejournal.com profile] azure_horizons
Rachel/Harvey, Rachel/Bruce
Harvey observes Rachel with Bruce during TDK.

Batman/Joker.
Chinese anime. I just like this for the pretty artwork.

Thanks! I haven't really looked for gen fic, so there are a few things here I haven't read.

...Anomaly is quite a bit longer than Reveal though, you know.

Yeah, oops that was me being too tired to think of actual words to describe Anomaly and Being Realistic and falling asleep instead.

Hahahhah that's okay, I'm sure everyone but me would skim past it anyway. At least, I rarely read that part of recs unless it looks long and full of good information - if I'm looking for the pairing I just click.

Hee! My usual reccing process is even more haphazard and tends to consist of "OMG go read this *link*"

It is a measure of how obsessed with a fandom I am if I carefully compile links and organise them.

Anyhow, I fixed them. Of course I had to go reread the fics to remind myself which they were. Oh the hardship.

LOL. I include wordcounts in the headers of my fics rather obsessively. And constantly refresh wordcount when I'm writing to see how fast it's coming. (The wip that I had posted part of in the comment meme is at 8960!)

*looks innocently confused* Doesn't everyone do that?

More tellingly, do you post 'word count updates' on your lj?

That WIP with the wounded thigh? I LOVE THAT!!! I'm thrilled that you're turning it into a real fic. Yays!!!

Well, I mention it when I'm too excited to contain myself. Not so much WHAT I DID TODAY! daily updates as like "omg, 10,000 already!" And yes, that one. I always intended to finish it, I just stopped putting it up there when I realised it was destined to be a long one.

Yes, though Batman's thigh is not exactly central to the plot...
