From Little Things Big Things Grow.
May. 4th, 2008 12:38 pmMusicians including Kev Carmody, Paul Kelly, Urthboy and Missy Higgins have recorded a reworked version of Carmody and Kelly's classic From Little Things Big Things Grow.
Originally written in the late 1980s about an Aboriginal workers' strike at the Northern Territory's Wave Hill Cattle Station in the 1960s, the modern-day version of the tune features the voice of Rudd when he delivered his Apology to the Stolen Generation speech earlier this year.
It also has an excerpt of Keating's famed Redfern speech, which was delivered in 1992 to launch 1993 as the International Year for the World's Indigenous People.
