Thirty six minutes into Blade Trinity and it's not looking good.

What? I LIKED the first two.

However, Callum Keith Rennie has a really minor role as a vampire gangsta. I know where my duty lies. And the guy from Prison Break is here. Also Ryan Reynolds and James Remar. And there's a hot chick with a crossbow and leather.

Mostly it's been car chases and excessive violence, which I am totally over, but now they've started talking. It's not actually an improvement.

In conclusion Ryan Reynolds does not carry off the beard, but Prison Break guy totally does.

Also, Dragonfly is snuggled up against my arm. I can only assume she's pished.

Edit Ryan Reynolds, kneeling, chained to the floor, shirtless, sweaty. On that note, I'm going to bed.

I've often thought of watching those movies. I've got an idea they are rather violent & gory so I've been a bit put off. Although I can cope with more gore if there's vampires in it. Go figure - I can't. Guess it kind of goes with the territory though.

Please say hi to Dragonfly. (Cor, a rhyme. I must have poetic inclinations.)

Hope the movie improves.

Ryan Reynolds carries the film. And by 'carries' I mean 'drags while calling it names and occasionally punching it in the head'

Definitely watch the first one, um, I guess you could fastforward through the gore.

Not traditional vampire fare though, but I liked those elements, like the dance club that sprays blood through the ceiling sprinklers in the first film, or the hard core S&M club in the second.

Ta for the info. Will keep an eye out, but will probably be a while before I get round to watching them. Have heaps to watch in the meantime - SGA; NCIS; Due South...

Yeah, I'm watching Smallville & Heroes when they are on TV. And Rome, when Channel 9 deigns to air it. Will wait for LoM. I watched 1st season virtually in 1 day. If 2nd season is as good, I couldn't cope with the wait.

What's Entourage like? I've seen seasons of it cheap at JB HiFi but had too much to watch already. Is it worth buying and then waiting to watch down the track?

I've bought the first two seasons because of the fabulous fanfics that hooked me into the fandom without having seen a single episode.

They're still in their wrappers, cos I haven't got to them yet!

Just like I haven't started Rome s2 yet, or LoM s2.

So many shows, so little time!!!

I remember when Blade came back and found the hospital bed thingy empty and I was all "Waah! They've stolen the abs!"
