Another Exciting Workplace Event

So tonight this Noongar guy comes racing into the kitchen. I shout at him to leave, but notice his body language is all about Escape! He's not even seeing us. Some other guy leaps the counter and comes back, but pauses and doesn't quite come into kitchen, then retreats. Escape! guy has darted further towards the back and now looks like he wants to hide in the storeroom so I'm seeing there's no way he's going back out front and am like "Okay, go out the back door! No, that way!" Follow him over, he's peering out the back door. "I'm like, "Go, already!" Finally he makes his break for it.

All in a night's work.

Now, silver_b_a's and my taste in fic are radically different. She likes stuff much darker than I can take, and also she's surprisingly uncritical of quality of writing and characterisation and sometimes I mock her for it. And yet she remains my friend (I think)

So tonight she recced Firefly. It's Mal/Simon and it's called'The Glue Series'
