So, my movement. Slightly impaired today on account of bad judgement yesterday. When I unexpectedly got to the gym 40 minutes before my Bodyjam class and thought that I may as well do some weight training.

See, what I didn't know, or rather, did know but had not taken into account, was that the routines changed last week (when I wasn't there) This happens every 4 weeks, and what I didn't know was that we have a different probably not deliberately sadistic instructor and instead of fun bouncy dance routines interspersed with slow cool-down hip hop numbers, we had intense hip hop workout routines, interspersed with the cool-down hip hop numbers. That's a lot too much hip hop for my tastes. Also felt a lot too much like actual intense exercise.
Bah humbug.
Then, and this I didn't know, they'd changed the Body Balance class completely to a whole new stretchy balancy routine. Wont miss the badly-disguised-pushups. However, was left feeling like I need to be in a remedial balancing class.
Interesting development re Body Balance - am left with whole new appreciation for the female form...Have no idea what thats about.

I've been doing pathetic laps at my parents' pool, which is basically all push off and then you're at the other end. Fun to do 50 laps without much effort, but I'm not sure if it's helpful. We should swim.
