Eight Below

Stopped in Armadale for lunch on the way home from Slashcon, and somehow ended up going to see Eight Below, a film I'd never heard of, but Jody and Trille were keen to see, and hey, Paul Walker is pretty, right?

I should mention at this point that I am a sucker for dogs.

I spent a lot of the film crying, at one point actually sobbing loudly.

No, no its a GREAT film, sorry, I should have made that clear. I wouldn't have linked to trailers if I'd been ranting about it. *g*

A couple of the dogs die, and also Maya, the leader (and the owner's favourite) is injured and there's this amazing scene where she hands over leadership to Max, the youngest, and he's like NO WAY and lies down with his head on her back. And we think she's going to die but Max leads the humans back to her, yay!!!!
