The last couple of weeks I've been coasting along happily enjoying Lewis and househunting, in my usual denial about uni having started. Why yes, I do have an assignment due Monday. I suppose I should go listen to the lectures...

Then ravenclaw_harpy, who is an evil temptress who has clearly been miffed about my moving on from Merlin, recced me THREE Merlin Big Bang fics. Why yes, I have just lost three days of my life.

I've just finished this. Original Merlin characters mixing it up with the cast of the series. Various pairings, including RPS. I refused to read it until RH peer pressured me and assured me that it was so AU that the actors aren't really themselves. And she was totally right. This fic is freakin' AMAZING. It also comes with artwork and a vid by Mamoru!!!! which I can't actually watch because I only have a little netbook which doesn't like the program they use on that site.

Recently I successfully pimped Wiseguy to zebra363.

Even more recently I successfully pimped Lewis to blue_pax solely by email. She was hooked before she'd seen an episode.

I do not own Lewis on DVD, and since they're British shows, they're obscenely expensive. Therefore I am only getting to watch them at an excruitatingly drawn out pace, as I have to invite myself over to ravenclaw_harpy's for viewings. On the plus side, I still have more to see, yays!!!

I have however, had to buy season 2 because of the SLASH JACKPOT episode, despite the fact that I am now saving all my money for house-buying. Really. I'm pretty much living on hommus and fruit for lunch weekdays. I think I may actually be getting sick of hommus, which I didn't know was possible. Or it might me that I'm just not that fond of the Black Swan brand that came in an economy size tub and as such have been plowing through all week.

It was like FATE - season 2 was on sale at Amazon UK for under ten pounds!! Bargain!!! Once you add postage and do the currency conversion it's only....$28. For 4 movie length eps. OOOPS.
