*frowns* Somebody recced an SGA vid called 'Nothing'. I thought it was Resonant, but I can't find the rec now. *glares* Anyhow, the other day, when I followed this rec, I realised it took me to a page of vids by Butterfly, the person who did that fabulous Brokeback Mountain vid I showed at the Gathering. Obviously I was excited! However, the links were dead, so I emailed Butterfly to ask if she could fix the links to a few of the fandoms I liked, Dr Who, Dead Zone, the SGA one. She sent me http://paravio.net/vids/ but as it just lists the titles I had to download every single one to investigate. And you know, I had my horizons broadened :) (after deleting fandoms I can't get into, like Anakin/Amidala) See, the vids here are GEN character pieces, or HET, and a lot of them are country music. But since you can't tell what the fandoms/themes are, I'm just going list the ones I liked, for whatever reason, and you can take your chances. *g*
Nothing - SGA. Depeche Mode song, so it's studied, and intense.
The Thunder Rolls - Brokeback Mountain - focus on Alma.
El Tango de Roxanne - AtS . I admit to being a lot influenced in how much I like a songvid by how much I like the song. This is a Darla character piece, I didn't even LIKE Darla.
Prayer - Supernatural. Dean character piece.
The World is Not Enough - BSG. I'm not into the fandom. I'm not into Six. But this is good.
Beauty of the Rain - Dr Who. This is too slow for my taste. But it's Nine/Rose.
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - Dr Who. Ten/Rose. Sarah McLachlan, so I love it.
Fear - Stargate SG1. It's a Daniel Jackson/relationships one. I don't like Daniel overmuch, but I LOVE Sarah McLachlan, and it's good.
Mind - QAF UK. I like this, I don't love it, but it's the best Stuart/Vince I've seen.
Hallelujuh - I've only watched like, two seconds of this, cos I haven't seen the end of season five and it's very spoilery, but it appears to be Wesley and ex-Fred.
Beautiful Song - BtVS. This is a really good vid. It's Buffy/Xander though. I don't ship them. Also. I don't like Xander. Did I mention the vid is good?
The First Cut - BtVS. It's a country song. *cries* But it's a good Buffy/Riley, Buffy/Angel relationship vid *runs away feeling dirty*
Without a Sound - BtVS 'She wore a beautiful dress, to her own death'. Buffy.
