Apparantly Fundies have been ranting about how Oprah participated in "psychologized child abuse" by having a show to raise awareness of trasgendered children (ages 5,9, and 11).

I have to say OMG can people really tell at 5 years old? Cos if someone had asked me at 5 years old if I identified as a boy or girl I'd have been Boy me up! And at 9. Probably even at 11, influence of an all girls school not withstanding, but puberty didn't kick me in the whatevers until 13 years (got my first period on a plane thanks for that) Now I know gender identification isn't about sexuality, and have read people's accounts of always feeling 'wrong' and hating their developing bodies as teens, but at FIVE YEARS OLD???
