Actually I mostly wanted to say OMG SERENITY!!!

If anyone wants to point me to some good post-Serenity fic I'd be most appreciative. The film pretty much killed the slash for me, but I'd be interested to see how people are writing it. Otherwise I'm in a happy het place right now, and when I say 'happy' I use that term advisedly.

I can't imagine watching the film without having seen the series. Obviously it stands alone just fine, but without having already witnessed the depth of devotion between Zoe and Wash, some scenes would not have had nearly the same impact. Have I mentioned how much I love Zoe and Wash's relationship. They are so cute together.


And how is it that all of the guys looked much older, and all of the women looked just the same?

ps, I'm actually in the middle of writing a serious diarylike entry about work, but obviously a pointless squee post takes precedence.

I wanted to comfort you by telling you that Book's death was not at all the biggest most traumatic spoiler, but, you know, I didn't want to spoil you.

Did you cry? Poor dear.

I noticed that Kaylee was definitely thinner. It took me a while to realise that she wasn't looking randomly haggard, just that she was back to Hollywood weight levels.

Yeah but I was expecting that, I have a desktop piccie of the four women all dressed up and had already adjusted to the fact that the only one who looks remotely healthy sized is Zoe.

*grin* Thanks. Most of the credit goes to vegetariansushi. I cropped the image and sort of slapped basic Photoshop fonts on it during Slashcon and then asked Sushi for advice. She sent me back what you see with blow-by-blow instructions on how she got there. There was squeeing and delight and much love :D
