Has anyone noticed that special_trille's been unusually quiet lately. Oh, it's because SHE HAS NO POWER. I only discovered this when vegetariansushi, who's like in Ohio or somewhere, mentioned it. So I text Trille, cos you know she's been excited about her annual Due South religious experience Call of the Wild viewing, and she's like 'Oh come on over! Western Power promise we'll have power by 7pm and we have to eat all our meat.'

UNO by candlelight is weirdly fun. And having to hold the blue and green cards right up to the flame to guess the colour each and every time is totally an acceptable fire hazard.


Then Trille read porn aloud, accompanied by special effects by her accommodating housemate but after awhile it was just too cozy with my head in her lap and I had to go home.

In conclusion, at 10.30pm special_trille and emma_in_oz were still without power. Oddly they seem to be the only ones left, this little pool of darkness amidst the city lights.

I'm sending a package that way today, I think - ought I put in some torches? Honestly, given Trille's history wtih fire, y'all really ought invest.

Also, I like that I'm far, far away, yet am seemingly stalking the entirety of Perth. FEAR MY MAD INTERNATIONAL STALKING SKILLS! Or fear my terrifyingly American indiscretion and effusiveness. Either one.

It came back on at 3:30 this afternoon! So hoorah for Western Power who fixed the problem only just two days after it occurred. No, it's mean of me. There was the general problem in the suburb and then a particular problem about the link between our units and the rest of the suburb.
