I'm thinking Bunny needs her own computer - she's nearly four, after all!

I have a crappy old pc that's as slow as fuck and full of slash stuff. Should I get it wiped - would that increase the speed? Or would it be better to look for a cheap second hand tower? Can you just get towers?

Does anyone know of anyone wanting to get rid of an old pc cheaply?

Oooh. free stuff.

*suspicious* What's the catch? Chocolate? Sexual favours? Shoulder massages?

Are you coming to [livejournal.com profile] maharetr's tonight?

Well, I'll certainly accept all of the above...

Seriously - it's one that was being thrown away, so I snaffled it. Whereupon IT guys said - take this monitor, keyboard and mouse, it won't be much use wihtout that. Actually, we can't be bothered taking Windows 98 or Office 98 off it, so you can just keep that as well.

Of course, if anything goes wrong with the software, there's no discs to reinstall - but you could always install something linux-y very cheaply.

I am coming tonight after beach training, Sentinel and hopefully children of the Gods in hand.

For some reason, I find this to be roughly the most charming entry that has ever been made. You are teh cute.

Hee! Tragically, no, no good drugs. I just -- I dunno. She's almost four. Obviously it's time for her to have her own computer.

I think that it made me smile because I was thinking roughly the same thing about M the other day, is all. And also because you're cute.

Bunny's taken to the computer like the proverbial duck, not unexpectedly.

However all I have to do to get her to lose interest is say, Hey 'wanna come and play with me'

She loves having my undivided attention. I'm making the most of it, all too soon she'll be too cool for school.

If you're interested I'll email you a piccie.

Hee. I think that M's already more of a hard core computer junkie than Bunnie, then - She has this game called Reader Rabbit, and will play it for hours if I let her. She'll be distracted for a few minutes if I offer to read to her, but after a book or two will go back to it. Makes me laugh. Thankfully the game is borderline educational, so I don't feel too bad about letting her do it.

A friend of mine just offered me an old 10GB tower for the cost of shipping - I think that I'm going to take her up on it and buy a cheap monitor so that M has her own computer, since I feel bad that she has to use my laptop/my parents desktop.

If you're interested I'll email you a piccie.

Yes yes yes yes. meghan at blurredlines dot com, please. Yay! You've seen M, yes? Small monkeychild that she is.

Gah. BunnY, self. Sorry. I used to work with a woman called Bunnie, and her name was in fully half my CS reports, so it's habit.
