Apple US is $199 - but apparently only ships within the US.

Apple Australia costs $279.

That's about $45 more!!!!

I could get it from Amazon for the cheaper price, but they don't have the shiny special edition RED - and I WANTS IT PRECIIOUUS.

*angst*

That's very frustrating. You think that they'd be able to update their prices considering the dollar has risen against the US$ so much, and been steady for a couple of months now.

Why would they bother, when they have a perfect excuse to screw us?

You're lucky with your toys. Most boardgames are double the cost in Australia that they are in the USA.

How does that make me lucky? You DO know I live in Australia, right?

Only having a 20% markup on US prices for one's toys is much better than those of us who see 100% markups.

Someone needs to 'accidently' pull a couple of hours overtime, then get paid out :)
