On holiday

We're in Daylesford, known as 'spa country' and famous for being 'alternative' and 'gay-friendly' Have just taken the dogs for a walk in the forest, and around a nearby lake. See? Not just watching telly.

Last night we drove into Melbourne to see Spamalot. I highly recommend it, even if you happen to be the only person in the western world who can't finish the line 'Your mother was a hamster, your father______'



I didn't know!! OMG How totally awesome to have Lancelot come out as gay, with a dance number tribute to Peter Allen, and then end the play with a gay wedding. Sure, Arthur and Guinevere got married too, but it was when Lancelot and Herbert appeared through the chapel archway that the audience went 'Awww'. And when Lancelot enfolded his husband in his arms and said 'Just think, Herbert, in a thousand years this will still be controversial' everyone roared.
