Piccie.

Why Susan Bones isn't there, why the Patil twins are both in Gryffindor, and why I never noticed that before (I'm suddenly remembering them both lining up to confront the Boggart in an earlier film).

Also check out Ginny wearing pants! I didn't even know the girls had the option. Cool.

I'm guessing it's a Quidditch thing - flying in a skirt would surely be an issue (ignoring Cho).
As for the twins... umm they forgot?
Susan Bones is a Hufflepuff, and we all know how well they get treated.

When they had their lesson in the first movie they were wearing skirts weren't they?

But yes, very good point, skirts would be impractical for any number of things they do in class. Mind you, I bet one of the first spells witches (and wizards in the olden days learnt was a spell to keep their skirts down *g*)

But Ernie's there, and some Ravenclaw boy that I assume I should know, but don't. And Susan had screentime in the movie!!

Would the Ravenclaw be Michael Corner?

Did you Wiki, or are you Just. That. Good.

shitty continuity, isn't it.

they both lined up in PoA, in the DADA class with the boggart. I'm not particularly sure whether they used the correct uniform colours then either.

Maybe they went to all the trouble of casting twins and then went, oh bugger one of them's in Ravenclaw and none of those scenes are in the movie, oh well, no-one will notice (and I didn't).

And if people who don't read the books hadn't of ever seen Parvati before they'd be wondering where she came from at the Ball.

The funny thing is, that in GoF, they've got both Patil twins waltzing happily, arm in arm, through the Gryffindor common room (before the ball), which I'm not sure would be typically canon. It seems that the film canon has both of them in Gryffindor.

I'd have to agree *sigh*
