So big Dr Who news, huh.

I don't bother to avoid casting spoilers anymore. I work with a mad Dr Who fan who bounces into my office and is all excited at me.

He reckons three quarters of the fandom are going to explode when they wake up and read the news.

Haven't read the part about Tennant leaving. Only about C.Tate and K. Minogue.

I actually don't belong to any proper Dr Who comms or boards, so I haven't read any of the goss at all.

I liked Catherine Tate's character in Doctor Who, and I think she will make an excellent foil, and YAY for having an older companion. I think she will be fun.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with her character too. And it'll be nice to have a character around who's not 'gagging for Time Lord cock' (an expression I suddenly keep seeing around the place).
