sarrenBunny's a bit over the Tom Baker eps, so we've moved on to Sylvester McCoy, because I've only ever seen one adventure (an Ace one) and I'm hoping they're a bit more... modern.
I put the first one on, where he changed, but that was clearly in the middle of an adventure so we skipped ahead to Paradise Towers. Dragonfly warned me it was 'freaky'and omg what drugs was that writer on, it's hilarious, it has girl gangs and caretakers who look like they got their uniforms from a certain type of niche store, old ladies in pearls and offering tea who turn out to be cannibals and daring escape scenes. And Richard Briers. *boggles*
I was completely totally planning to watch one and go back to writing my essay, but I am sucked in and we're on the last one. Bunny was planning on playing on the computer but is RIVETED.
It's my first Mel ep, I knew only that she's the most disliked companion, and her polka dot outfit and little girl's voice are offputting, but I did like the fact that she had the forethought when they left the TARDIS to organise a meeting place for if she and the Doctor got separated.
Little old ladies are now taking on the killing machines with swathes of fabric and possessed!Richard Briers in silver face paint. GOLD.
