Got introduced to
Don Strachey at the Gathering.

Watched one of the movies yesterday and have the other one on disk. Don and his husband Timmy are SO CUTE together. They call each other 'honey' and 'my love' and it doesn't sound stupid at all. I may have to reassess my opinion on endearments in fanfic. Also Timmy is played by Sebastian Spence, who was Cade in First Wave and now shows up in half the scifi shows on - Dark Angel, Supernatural, and apparently, Battlestar Galactica. How much do I love him for taking this role?

Obviously I will have to buy the books now.

From what I remember there are two movies/miniseries whatever, I have both but never got around to watching the second one. It's a soft porn witchcraft show. Lots and lots of pretty boys with no body hair having lots and lots of sex, while the lesbians get a fade to black as though the director just went 'girl bits - hell no!'

I liked it just for the first scene where the 19th century Master of the House gets buggered by his manservant who looked a lot like Methos. Then the Methos lookalike got horribly killed by the chick who played Cassandra in Highlander. This amused me probably more than it should.

I'd send you a copy - but you'd never watch it. *eg*

Wow, I never thought I'd be spoilt for choice for gay TV! It sounds good, but not as good as stuff I've got waiting to watch already.

*beams* I'm even watching series 2 Life on Mars now! (Mr Tweed is addicted.)
