sarrenIT was overcast when I left work today, and by the time I turned into the local shops it was sheeting down and dark but the sky was bright with lightening. I had a waterproof jacket on but my jeans got soaked just running the few metres from my car to the doorway. There was a dude with a shopping bag and a labrador sheltering there. On my way out a few other people with shopping had joined him. I was like 'you guys seriously waiting for THIS to stop' as I ran past, and they mostly laughed and took off too, including the dude with the dog. I felt bad for him (and the dog) so I drove across the car park to where he and his dog were now sheltering against another building and offered them a lift. He declined cheerfully and took off down the street with his poor dog reluctantly tailing him. I wouldn't normally offer a guy a lift, but I figured someone who owns a labrador has to be okay, right?
I feel so sorry for Dean Winchester. His whole life has been about duty and about trying to protect his messed up little family, and getting his heart ripped to pieces in the process.
Why yes, I am watching the entire six seasons from start to finish again. Thank you season six for being so awesome. I'm half way through season 2, and when I'm not watching eps with Dragonfly I'm reading fic and watching all the vids I can find and collecting the best Dean/Castiel ones ready to inflict on people at the Gathering on Sunday.
Annd there will be a recs post soon, oh yes. Because it's not like anyone can't already google a billion Supernatural recs pages already. God, it's nice to occasionally fall into obsession with an established megafandom. *wallows* It's also nice to have my periodic obsession during semester break for a change, when I have the time to enjoy it, and not have it negatively impacting on my studying. *cough*

FBI agent: I know about Sam - Bonnie to your Clyde.
Dean: Yeah, you got that part right.
