reading stuffs

Ooh, and I can start reading the third book in 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' series. wouldn't have finished it if I hadn't of been away on holiday with only a handful of books and my workmate's ringing endorsement ringing in my ears. then I broke and started the second one that he'd also insisted on lending me because he was SO enthusiastic, and SO insistent that the second one is the best and SO awesome. So I started reading it, and started out as dodgy as I'd expected. The main character is interesting, but I find the way the author writes about her a bit repellent. Anyhow, turns out the story is quite engaging and builds to this quite gripping climax and then...ends. And that was WEEKS ago but then I couldn't start the next one because I had to prioritise stupid studying. I don't know if I want to read the whole thing, given that the second one was the best, but really, really, really have to just finish. that. damn. scene. Seriously, it just ENDS. Who does that?



Managed to finally get started on Lois McMaster Bujold earlier this year. Completely in the wrong order or course, so I already got the happy ending, still, no Miles is enough Miles, right? I'm planning on knocking a couple more off this break. They'll be in the local library, won't they?
