The first I heard of Eureka was a rant from someone on my flist about where this poor woman rocks up to find out why she's been declared dead, only to discover that her ex has cloned her and had a kid and now everyone expects her to be this boy's mommy, and how crappy this is because this woman had made the choice to NOT be a mother and now she has to what? just give up her own life play happy families with this freaky creepy guy and this child she's never met? And now that I've seen this ep. EUWW.

Then I saw half of the pilot ep at a slash gathering a few months ago but then I had to go play with Bunny in the toyroom.

And people on my flist seem to be enjoying it mostly in a 'it's a show about geeks'!! kind of way, which put it on my 'I'll get around to it' sometime list, maybe.

Then I read that fic by Pru and it's SO CUTE, and I went and got Eureka eps and have just watched the first two episodes and it's SO CUTE and then Dragonfly went to bed just cos she has to get up early with the small child, and now I can't watch anymore. *sulks*

Things I like

1 Jack. is adorable..

2. SARAH.

3. Fargo. Can there be creepy stalker sex pls thanx, possibly involving SARAH.

4. The hot deputy, Jo. I want the UST to be Jack/Jo instead of Jack/DOD lady, not that I have anything against her except for the perfectly groomed I just stepped out of a soap opera look.

Oh, I *heart* Eureka! I am very much all over the Carter/Stark, myself. There's precious little fic. Sadly, I just went back to find fic that I had written, and then I realized I had only written it in my head. SAD.

Have figured that Carter/Stark will be the main pairing all by myself *is proud* When I first saw Stark I assumed he was going to be the bad guy (must have been the bad facial hair) but then there was the 'fessing up to seeing the 'ghost' scene that was cute, and then Pru's fic mentions that he's as smart as Rodney McKay so I figured that I'm allowed to like him.

I adore Eureka, but haven't seen any fic. My pairing of choice would probably be Carter/Henry, though Carter/Stark is appealing, as well.

I've seen about seven episodes now, I and I LOVE the friendship with Henry and Carter, but I just don't find them sexy together *shrug*. Whereas they keep having all these scenes of Carter and Stark standing or walking together and Stark is just so much bigger than Carter and Carter's not a small guy and it's pushing my buttons.. or it could be the uniform *g*

I first really warmed to Stark when he was like, NO, actually it's MY nobel prize. I EARNED IT. and this thing now where everything Carter does gets to him *g* I'm liking it.

I lovelovelove Eureka, but haven't really been hunting for fic, so have no recs for you. I've subscribed to the Eureka Newsletter, but there's almost nothing coming through.

My favourite characters are Henry, Jo and Fargo. And I think I'm pretty exclusively gen for Eureka. I loves my Carter/Henry smarm, oh yes.
