On companions
Apr. 6th, 2010 07:50 amAs much as I've liked every single female companion of the new series so far, everytime there's a remotely promising young guy helps the doctor I forlornly hope that the guy will get the job. Like that cute red cap back in the Sontaran Experiment. Oh wait, he died, of course.
Oh that's right, there was ONE male companion but he didn't last, but he did get his own series!!.
Amy Pond is adorable.
But Rory!!! How would Rory NOT be a GREAT companion. I see he's in most of the upcoming episodes and I am TRUSTING Stephen Moffat for this to not be a repeat of the whole Rose/Mickey thing.
Oh, Mickey? Mickey wasn't a real companion. We know that because he didn't kiss the doctor. Not once. Sorry Mickey, no one gave you the heads up.
Seriously, if the Doctor isn't a sexual being (even if he doesn't act on it), WHY are nearly all his companions young women?
Stephen Moffat, please to be changing this.

Hahaha I forgot Jeff! “Okay guys, let’s do this!”
