Things making me happy this morning

My cat, dozing next to me, the early morning light striping her body through the open blinds.

I left my blinds open so I'd wake up early - I've been up since 5am - it's YULETIDE MORNING YIPPEE!!!!

*flails excitedly*

I've been leisurely rewriting the ending for my main fic (no pressure, I uploaded a shorter one already) and checking out the pinch hits as they trickle through. The main deluge will come after the deadline passes. I had some angst when I woke up and realised my manager had scheduled a meeting for the exact same time as the deadline, but now they've instituted Yuletide Madness, it doesn't really matter whether you officially get assigned a pinch hit anymore, the more the merrier!!!
